Join me for “Getting Full”!

The next Getting Full will be on June 18th at 12 pm. This time, it will be sent out via email with no link to a live version since I will officially be out on maternity leave. I’ll be covering nutrition basics. The things I wish everyone understood about nutrition. It will be recorded and sent out for paid subscribers within the week.

June: Thursday, June 18th at 12 pm CT, Nutrition 101 (this will be pre-recorded since I will be on leave and will just be sent out as an email - AKA it will not be a “Live”)

July: A special guest is joining us! Hannah Kirby (a long-time friend and colleague of mine and the owner of Whole Being Nutrition) will be coming on to talk about a new group we’re running together in the fall. This will be pre-recorded and available to everyone - not just paid subscribers. Look out for it to learn how to join us for a fantastic body image group! I will send out her video via email on July 16th.

August: Tuesday, August 18th at 5:30 pm CST, Getting Comfortable with Body Awareness

Paid subscribers will receive the email link to the live event a couple of days before it happens. Remember that this is a perk for paid and comped subscribers, so if you haven’t made the plunge yet, there’s no time like the present. The overview is always free to all, but to watch it live or see the full recording, you do need to be a paid subscriber. Thank you for your support! A reminder that I’m running 50% off all subscriptions from now through the end of my maternity leave.

I’ve been an owner of Full Life Nutrition Counseling since 2021 - almost five full years of having Full as a part of my core values as a business owner and dietitian. Being “full” is something I look to in almost every part of my own life, something that feels important to ensure I’m living in alignment with my values, interests, and goals. I want to feel full in all aspects of my life on a pretty regular basis - even when that may rotate depending on the phase of life I happen to be in. When I don’t feel full, I can tell I’m out of alignment with the things that bring me joy and happiness. The fullness of life can encompass every emotion, ups and downs, and bad days. It’s not about perfecting every moment, but embracing possibilities and seeking out good experiences.

I chose Full as a tenet in my business because it is a constant theme in my day to day life as a dietitian. I’m working with clients daily to help them achieve fullness in their bodies, not just with food but in their physical and mental experience of the world. Being full can have hidden meanings that we’ve created or been exposed to since we were little kids. Being full can bring up uncomfortable feelings both physically and mentally. Depending on how we’ve navigated the world in our bodies, fullness can be a completely neutral or even pleasant sensation, or it can bring up significantly unpleasant emotions.
